Carelee does not charge clients for a caregiver’s personal commute from their home to your location or from your location back to their home. Mileage is only billed at a rate of $0.50 per kilometre when a caregiver uses their vehicle during your shift for specific needs such as medical appointments, grocery errands, or social outings. This rate also applies if a caregiver is required to travel directly from one client’s home to another to provide your scheduled care.
A one-week refundable deposit may be collected at the start of service. The deposit is returned in full when one week’s notice is provided prior to ending service, in accordance with the agreed terms.
To help us manage caregiver schedules fairly, we ask for 7 days written notice for cancellations. If less than 7 days’ notice is provided, the deposit will be applied toward the outstanding service period and will not be refunded.
